high note arpeggios
improvised riffs
complex chords

polyrhythmic counterpoint
melodies in modes
clever phrasing
variations on a theme

playing a wah-wah pedal
with virtuostic subtlety
the water rushes through
a narrow opening of the rocks

layers layers layers
too many things happening at once
like a hundred delay pedals
impossible to resolve
much less notate

so I just sit
and listen.
